Direct Lines
A direct line is one sentence addressed to one named reader.
The sentence names the reader, states the point, and carries the day it was written. A second reader is not implied. If the named reader changes, the line is rewritten rather than forwarded with a note. The line is not a contract, not a medical order, and not a channel to buy installs.
